The networks the other operators are building only connect the DSLAM's with their HQs. The phone line between the DSLAM and your home will be the same old sucky cable anyway.

You'd be better off if you start lobbying for FTTH or other alternative means of connectivity (like the nonexistent in Greece cable TV networks).

That said, there may be other things you can do to help improve matters. Checking your building's phone line for one. Putting filters everywhere. Properly sealing OTE's box in your house. etc.</description>
